Lovely houses. There was 22of us so there was lots of room for everyone. Beautiful sun sets and fun in the hot tub.Playing ball games in the field behind the houses. The games room was another place which both adults and children enjoyed. Days out: Climbing Sugarloaf Mountain and being above the clouds. Amazing! Walking to get to Beacon View. Walking along the canal .Walking in the forest following the colour coded paths

Great space, lots of facilities for families to enjoy. Kids could roam safely. Hot tub was great. Houses were really warm!

Faultless!
Everything at High Cloud was perfect! More than enough space for all 18 of us and the place was immaculate. We just wish we brought our dogs along because they would have loved it!
Bedrooms were lovely and comfortable, it was nice that you can’t hear any noise at all from the barn when you’re in the main house, so it’s a nice private space for those who want it!
Hot tub & games room are just great additions to what’s already a lovely house & space. We didn’t get to use the pool as it was out of season, but it looked huge, and the garden area around it looks like it would be perfect in the summer.
We would have rebooked straight away for next year if there were any weekends free in the summer, as we’d have loved to use the pool, but seems a lot of other people loved it as much as we did so it’s booked out 😆
Mike was very friendly and made us feel really welcome when we first arrived and when we left; And very accommodating again the second time around as we had left some items at the house which he was more than happy for us to arrange to pick up at our convenience!

Fabulous property with great amenities. We stayed in the barn and all the teenagers loved spending time in the games room and the pool. The hot tub was lovely! And such a beautiful location. One negative was that the Barn was too hot. We tried to lower the thermostats but the overall temperature stayed at 24 degrees. far warmer than I wuld choose to heat my own home. We had to hope the windows which seemed a dreadful waste of energy. Wonderful stay though.

A spectacular property with fantastic views all round, decorated to a very high standard. The double room on the top floor of the house is not as big as it looks on the floor plan because of the sloping roof. The pool, hot tub, games room (with a piano!) all much enjoyed. Plenty of heat in the house; underfloor heating in the Barn was too hot, turning it off/ down in bedrooms had no effect. Days out: For younger people: enjoy the pool and hot tub and games room on the property without going anywhere else. Otherwise: Monmouth worth a visit; Raglan Castle; Abergavenny. Footpaths for longer walks.

The stay was excellent from being greeted by Mike on arrival. The property had everything we needed for a truly memorable family get together. The hot tub was a fantastic way to enjoy the scenery and there was always someone in the swimming pool! Thanks for the memories.

We went on a couple of walking trails. Was lovely walking around the countryside. Loved the heated pool, usually when we stay with a place with a pool it's closed after September so that was lovely

The children all enjoyed the pool, games room and hot tub.
The oven in the mid barn (the one with the 24 seats) smelt really bad and was making peoples eyes burn/water - it may need looking at.

For our family group, ranging in age from 2 to 75, this place was perfect. We loved the swimming pool, hot tub, games room and the wonderful views. The 1.4 mile perimeter track was a bonus for those who enjoyed running each day. The manager and owner were very helpful and welcoming. Having a large group spilt between the farmhouse and barn was fine - except when it came to cooking and finding in which of the three American fridge/freezers we'd put things, so we found ourselves communting between the two buildings quite a lot.

Smashing Venue lovely beautiful surroundings the house and the Barn had lovely rooms to sit in Bedrooms were excellent kitchen personally the electric Hobbs and ovens we found them very slow would’ve preferred Gas,,,, There’s a slot between the house and Barn where they had grey bricks we were thinkng that would’ve been a lovely place for a decent size barbecue if there’s 15 to 20 plus people,,,, games room was really nice had some nice fun in there although would’ve preferred a dartboard in there,,, saw the sunset that was amazing overall throughly the 20 people that was there we really enjoyed ourselves really nice place to come get get away from life and enjoy our selves

The view and location are breath-taking.
We loved the pool despite it being only just opened and therefore still quite cold - don't worry it warms up! The hot tub was a hit as well as the games room.
Check in was easy - Mike was very helpful and made us feel very welcome.
The space that this property offers for large group is fantastic - we never once felt on top of each other.
Everything we needed was there.
We would definitely like to return one day. Thank you.

A really great place to stay. In a beautiful and quiet position with fantastic views. Lots of space inside and outside with very attractive walks in the farm. The house and barn were very well furnished with high quality furniture and fittings. Our weather was very good but if not there would be plenty of activities in the games room. I can't suggest any improvements

At the property you are inundated with Daddy Long Legs - literally there everywhere. My only suggestion of improvement would be to install an insect killer. We really enjoyed there being two parts - the house and the barn, we kept the quieter of the bunch in the house so we had somewhere to escape to. Overall our experience with BHHL has been awesome, from the minute we booked the communication has been amazing! We were met earlier than we expected and we had a big asda shop delivered to sort us all out for the weekend. We left the property as we found it and on return another whatsapp group has been created for a return visit!!! Thanks to the team!

Lovely spot. Lovely views. The weather was kind to us so we just stayed around the terrace and pool. Barn quite a long way from house, good for several groups but not so good for everyone to get together. Well equipped with toys, games, books etc, and lots of kitchen equipment though a bit random and spread between the kitchens. But very enjoyable stay.

We loved the heated pool, it was the highlight of the holiday for us as we had lots of kids in the group. The location of the house is perfect and the views incredible. All the bedrooms were clean and very spacious and the beds were very comfortable. One thing I think could be improved would be the games room. Its doubled as a storage room and was not a very inviting place to gather and the pool table and tennis table were both in poor condition. Saying that the kids still used it quite a lot.

We liked how it was spread out with the Barn and the House. We loved the open fields and remoteness. The pool and hot tub were an absolute win win for us. The adults and children went in the pool every day as it was heated and very warm whatever the weather. Great place, shame it’s booked up already for next year.. Gutted about that.

We all loved the house. Loads of space for everyone to chill and do their own thing. The pool was soooo good and we spent a lot of time in their. Generally the house and barn were very clean. We all had a bit of confusion with the directions. We all thought it would be helpful to have the pub postcode included as the instructions made more sense from here ( although it’s definitely further than you think it is). The other small thing I think would be an improvement would be better outside lighting. We ended up bringing lamps outside as it was really dark at night around the patio and we had to use torches to to walk backward and forwards between the barn and house.
Overall we had a really great stay and would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful weekend , we were lucky with the weather, loved walking around the fields and woods, the children loved the Gruffalo trail and of course the pool was a huge success.
